Historical tamarind

The Historical Tamarind is a tree which the deputies of the New Granada (Colombia and Panama) and the patriotic ones of Venezuela rested under the shade of after the exhausting meetings in which the Constitution of Cúcuta was written up, whose primary target was the creation of the Great Colombia during the Congress of Cúcuta.
It is in a great park of 4 hectares called Park of the Great Colombia, located in 6th km in the International Highway to Venezuela in the locality of Villa del Rosario (Cúcuta).
